We carry the needles listed above and regularly use the Size 18 Titanium needle in all of our Gammill longarms. Occasionally, we may switch to a larger needle to help push through bulky seam or dense fabric like batiks, or t-shirt quilts with interfacing. We may use a smaller needle for finer fabrics.
The chart below shows you the point styles available from Groz-Beckert. We carry our titanium needles in FFG and non-titanium in R. If you're looking for a different point style, please reach out to us. We may be able to place a special order for you, but we have found that these two point styles work for the many different types of quilts we've worked on.
