All users are required to attend a Longarm Users Class on the use and care of machines prior to use.
If you rent and complete your first quilt within one week of taking the certification class, you will receive a FREE ½ hour of rental time.
If you do not use the machines within 2 months of your certification class, or your last rental time was more than 6 months or longer, a $20 Refresher Course is required.
If you do not use the machine in over two years, you will be required to retake the certification.
Minimum rental = 2 hours User understands that rental time begins at scheduled start time and ends when the quilt is removed from the machine. Users are encouraged to arrive before scheduled rental time to prepare bobbins or conduct other prep work.
2 hour Cancellation Fee will apply for any appointment cancelled within 24 hours of your scheduled time.
Consider our $27 Jumpstart Service, where you can drop off your top, back and batting and we will pin, load and baste your quilt so you’re ready to go upon your arrival. Ask a staff member for details!
All users are responsible for any careless damage done to machine, equipment or property.
User will use the machine at his or her own risk.
User will look for any important notices posted in the Renter Area prior to each appointment, including User Policy updates.
An employee will be available during the renter’s session for troubleshooting. Design classes and private consultations are available at an additional fee, if you need more hands-on design help.
Basic colored thread is included in rental. Variegated thread is available for a nominal fee.
Reusable Zipper Leaders and Corsage Pins are available for purchase and strongly encouraged. You may also use ours during your appointment.
If the need arises that a user needs to take our Zipper leaders home, a rental fee will be arranged.
User will leave machine, floor, equipment, kitchen, etc. clean and replace any items borrowed back where they belong.
You are welcome to use our cutting mats, but must bring your own rotary cutter.
Renters may be under the age of 18, but must be accompanied by a certified renter over 18.

Limiting your “non-quilting” guests, as they can be distracting for you, other renters, and our working staff.
Be considerate of those around you - some quilters aren’t always comfortable having someone watch or ask questions.
Realize that we try our best to schedule so there a “cushion” of space between quilters. If you are running long, we will ask that you book another session if there is someone coming in after you.
